Full-Stack Engineer

You will join a dynamic, agile team focused on building intelligent applications that drive real impact across Deutsche Bank. As a full-stack engineer, you will develop AI-powered solutions using Python, React, and TypeScript.

Your responsibilities include implementing microservices, MCP servers, data connectors, and interactive frontends for our AI systems. You will work with SQL or ORMs to serve data efficiently and contribute to scalable backend services.

You will collaborate with software development teams in the Automation Platforms Organisation under the Service Automation department, delivering production-ready applications that enhance processes across the bank.

Your key responsibilities include:

• Designing and implementing full-stack solutions that power AI applications, combining backend microservices with intuitive frontend interfaces.
• Developing and maintaining Python-based microservices, APIs, and React frontends that integrate seamlessly with Deutsche Bank's infrastructure.
• Writing efficient SQL queries or using ORMs to retrieve and serve data through microservices, ensuring performance and scalability.
• Translating complex technical concepts into actionable insights and communicating them clearly to stakeholders across the organization.
• Building scalable machine learning pipelines, applying feature engineering, and optimizing data workflows to enhance model performance.
• Collaborating closely with a cross-functional, agile team of AI specialists, engineers, and domain experts to drive innovation across the bank.

Your skills and experiences include:

• University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field from an accredited institution.
• Experience with Python and SQL, including ORM frameworks, and building microservice architectures and APIs.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, and React, with experience developing interactive, data-driven frontend applications.
• Fluency in English; German is a plus.
• Strong analytical thinking, communication, and collaboration skills; comfortable working in agile, cross-functional teams.
