Job Description: As a Senior Human Resources Generalist, you will be responsible for maintaining and coordinating policies and programs for a specific client group. Covering one or more of the following: recruiting, compensation and benefits, training, and employee relations for specific internal client groups. Reports to the Director of Corporate HR with functional responsibility to one or more client groups. The position is remote, but since there will be some regional travel, the Sr. Generalist must reside in Michigan. Responsibilities include recruiting and screening exempt and non-exempt applicants, ensuring compliance with corporate hiring practices and policies, administering the corporate performance management and salary administration programs in accordance with company policies, counseling employees and managers on various employee relations' issues, facilitating training and career development plans for client groups, working with the HR Director to administer the annual HR Planning Process, serving as the Climate and QMS Survey administrator for client groups, and assisting employees in resolving benefits coverage issues by troubleshooting with Corporate HR and Corporate Benefits. Facilitates organizational design and change management initiatives with client groups.
Qualifications: Required Work Experience: 4 to 6 years HR Generalist experience. Knowledge: Knowledge of Microsoft Office. Knowledge of Oracle. Skills: Strong Excel skills, organizational skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
