Position Summary The Central Schedule Coordinator for Cardiology functions as the "air traffic controller" for Structural Heart and Cardiac Catheterization Lab procedures. This clinical scheduling role is responsible for coordinating complex patient procedures by ensuring the availability of physicians, advanced practice providers, equipment, and other critical clinical resources across all sites of care. This position serves as a centralized scheduling and communication resource for Structural Heart Disease (SHD) teams, patients, families, and referring providers, while also supporting insurance authorization follow-up and standardized scheduling practices.
