Are you a strategic leader with a passion for service excellence and relationship building? As the Section Manager, Service, PerformPlus, you'll be at the heart of our Group Benefits Business Development team, guiding a talented group of Service Representatives who support our advisors and clients with care, precision, and professionalism. This is a bilingual and national team, which means your leadership will have a broad impact across diverse regions and client profiles. You'll do more than manage operations—you'll shape the client experience, drive service innovation, and foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement. You'll work across departments to ensure seamless service delivery, respond to complex client needs, and help position our offerings in a way that truly resonates. To thrive in this role, you bring proven experience in group benefits or financial services, with a strong understanding of service operations. You're a confident leader with a track record of managing client-facing teams, and you know how to build trust and influence stakeholders through clear communication and interpersonal savvy. More specifically, you will be required to:

  1. Lead, coach, and develop a team of Service Representatives to ensure high performance and client satisfaction.
  2. Oversee the establishment and maintenance of business relationships with assigned advisors and clients through proactive communication.
  3. Act as a senior escalation point for client inquiries and service issues, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver a seamless client and advisor experience.
  5. Monitor service metrics, analyze data, and prepare reports with actionable recommendations.
  6. Support the implementation of new sales and service initiatives, ensuring alignment with team goals.
  7. Stay current with industry standards, product updates, and service innovations to guide team development and client engagement.

What you bring to the table:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • A minimum of seven years of relevant experience
  • Experience managing teams in a client-facing environment
  • Knowledge of French is required
  • Advanced proficiency in English and French due to the nature of the duties or work tools or because the position involves interactions with English and French speaking partners, members, and/or clients
  • Advanced knowledge of Group Benefits Insurance
  • National role where some travelling across regions
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle
