The Role You'll Contribute

Responsible for providing leadership and accountability in the strategic and daily operations of the clinical service. This position develops and maintains excellent physician and associate relations and is accountable for the quality of patient care provided by the nursing service. In addition, this position plans, organizes, directs, and evaluates all functions of the service, including quality, administrative, and financial outcomes. Additionally, this role oversees the delivery of patient care and establishes standards of nursing practice for the service. Responsibilities for this role include supporting activities, structures, and processes that promote an optimal work environment for professional nurses and inter-professional members. The role contributes to the organization's journey to excellence in patient care and work environment, aligned with the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) Magnet and Pathway to Excellence programs.

Elevate the practice of nursing and other clinical staff by educating, developing, and involving them in decision-making processes. Leads, develops, and educates key stakeholders and clinical teams to enhance professional nursing practice and shared decision-making. Supports global initiatives for clinical services, including large projects impacting multiple divisions and enhancing communication strategies. Demonstrates an understanding of ANCC Magnet or Pathways and its organizational impact.

The Expertise and Experiences You'll Need to Succeed

Required qualifications:

  • Bachelors graduated from an accredited school of BSN required only if masters degree is not in nursing.
  • Masters of Nursing
  • 4 years of progressive nursing leadership experience
  • Nursing Specialty Certification
  • Registered Nurse (RN)
