Course Rate
Adjunct faculty are compensated at a rate of $6,067-$10,000 per course for standard courses in the MME department dependent on type of course and experience of candidate. Pay for summer courses is based on enrollment. If you are selected to teach for summer, you will be informed of the summer pay scale at that time. Enrollment below 3 deems that the class should be canceled and no teaching, nor compensation will be allowed. PLEASE NOTE: Teaching the undergraduate and graduate section of the same course counts as a single course load and you will be compensated $6,067-$10,000 total for both sections.
The University of Denver has provided a compensation range that represents its good faith estimate of what the University may pay for the position at the time of posting. The University may ultimately pay more or less than the posted compensation range. The salary offered to the selected candidate will be determined based on factors such as the qualifications of the selected candidate, departmental budget availability, internal salary equity considerations, and available market information but not based on a candidate's sex or any other protected status.
