We are looking for a Sales Specialist (Consumables Specialist EDS) to join our team. In this role, you will ensure profitable and sustainable growth of the consumables business, primarily in the areas of restoration, prevention, endodontics, and laboratory solutions, through technical and commercial support within the assigned territory. You will drive demand (sell-out) by providing training, support, opportunity generation, and direct collaboration with the distribution network and dental professionals in the Southern Portugal territory.

Roles and Responsibilities

1. Commercial Activation and Demand Generation

  • Execute the commercial and promotional plan for the consumables area in the assigned territory. Drive sell-out campaigns together with key distributors and target clinics.
  • Conduct in-person visits to support sales processes in collaboration with the distributor team.

2. Training and Technical Support

  • Deliver clinical and technical training on restoration, endodontics, and prevention products.
  • Support dentists during product trials (seeding), demonstrations, and implementation of clinical protocols. Ensure proper understanding and use of the product portfolio.

3. Distributor Relations

  • Coordinate with assigned distributors to develop the market and increase company market share.
  • Identify growth opportunities with each distributor, aligned with corporate strategy.
  • Supervise the commercial activity of distributors, including visits, opportunity generation, and sales closures.

4. Territory Management and CRM

  • Plan and organize weekly visit routes based on the potential of each client.
  • Keep the CRM (Salesforce) updated with records of visits, actions taken, opportunities, and sales.
  • Prepare periodic reports on activity, opportunities generated, and campaign results.

5. Local Marketing and KOLs (Key Opinion Leaders)

  • Participate in the organization and execution of local events, workshops, clinical courses, and activities with key opinion leaders.
  • Identify and foster relationships with potential ambassadors or trainers in the territory.

Required Profile

Education:

  • University degree in Health Sciences, Dentistry, Dental Hygiene, Marketing, or similar.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years in a similar position in the dental or medical device industry.
  • Experience in clinical support or product training is a plus.
  • Knowledge of dental distribution channels and their dynamics.

Skills:

  • Excellent communication, consultative sales, and training skills.
  • Strong customer focus and results orientation.
  • Analytical and territorial organization skills.
  • Autonomy, proactivity, and a collaborative spirit.

Languages:

  • Native or equivalent proficiency in Spanish and Portuguese. English is a plus (for internal training and tools).

Technology:

  • Proficient in office software and CRM tools (preferably Salesforce).
  • Knowledge of digital tools for presentations and online training.
