Are you ready to grow with the Assurance team? Joining the Deloitte Accounting & Reporting Assurance team will give you the opportunity to grow and develop strong cross-functional skills, working on challenging projects and collaborating with many clients. By working directly with Managers and Partners, you will have the chance to be at the center of the capital markets operations, supporting companies in the areas of IPOs, bond issuances, M&A transactions, and all regulated operations in the financial markets, as an Assurance specialist of the audit team serving the client or as an Advisor in the operation.

In particular, you will:

• Assist clients in successfully navigating the offering process, through the review and drafting of offering documents;
• Provide advice on complex technical issues within the IFRS accounting principles or national accounting principles;
• Develop and provide internal and external training to audit teams as well as potential and existing clients, on IFRS accounting principles, EU Prospectus Regulation, SEC Reporting Manual, ESMA guidelines, CONSOB, or other supervisory authorities and industry practices;
• Prepare the letters required in the transaction, including letters of engagement and comfort letters;
• Interface with the other actors involved in the transaction (client company officials, law firms, investment bankers, audit teams, and other advisors);
• Enhance the contribution of junior resources and contribute to their growth;
• Identify potential risks and criticalities and share them promptly with the rest of the team;
• Collaborate effectively in international and heterogeneous teams by specialization.

Winning requirements:

• Specialist or three-year degree in Economics (preferred)
• Excellent knowledge of the English language
• Solid knowledge of IFRS and national accounting principles, with the ability to research technical issues, present complex technical situations clearly and concisely, and produce analyses on accounting issues.
• 2-4 years of work experience in accounting audit or other similar experience, with a solid knowledge of auditing principles (preferably at another Big 4)
• Proficiency in the main computer tools (MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint)
• Teamwork attitude, problem solving, and strong analytical skills

Highly motivated to grow and develop professionally

• Dynamicity and attitude towards the consulting profession

Ability to work in an intense and fast-paced environment

• Availability to travel in Italy and abroad
