Our Mechanical Engineering team puts the spark into the full hardware development lifecycle, from concept to production. It takes experts in system architecture definition, design, analysis, prototyping, sourcing & the debugging and validation of layouts or routes to deliver state-of-the-art products for a changing world. We work closely with designers, cross-functional teams within Dell Technologies and suppliers to make sure electronic designs meet a range of requirements, including schedule, feature set, functionality, and quality, as well as industry standards.

What You'll Achieve Work with technology providers, suppliers, and ODMs to enhance technical and resource capability to support demands of Dell future product strategy and roadmap. Proactively work with other cross-functional engineering groups such as marketing, system architect, system electrical engineering, and system mechanical engineering, to enable our Keyboard supplier partners to provide innovative cost-effective Keyboard solutions to make Dell products competitive.

You Will:

• Provide the technology recommendation and solution to cross LOBs NB in planning stage.
• Lead the suppliers to incubate the first to market features to Dell platforms
• Create value patents to drive innovation
• Enable Suppliers and ODMs of Keyboard engineering capability and drive the resource of Keyboard engineering in Suppliers and ODMs.
• Define / Review / Revise Keyboard specifications and related test documents.
• Suppliers Enablement and Management: Standardization of global Keyboard suppliers' specification to come out the competitive solution for Dell.

Essential Requirements

• Excellent Keyboard technical skills (ex. ME and Optical Backlight, etc) and strong ability to provide guidance.
• Bachelors ME Degree with 10 + years in Keyboard related field.
• Strong ability to work with technology providers and develop new and foster existing relationships.
• Ability to communicate clearly through oral and written communications across global organizations.

Desirable Requirements

• Strong program management skills with excellent priority setting skills and strong initiative and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
