Job Description

Regional Shared Services Team is seeking a highly motivated Service Delivery Lead to support the Record to Report ("R2R") Regional Process Owner in leading and shaping the R2R processes for all foodpanda's business entities in the Philippines. The role will be located at our Shared Service Centre ("SSC") in Manila, Philippines. Your Key Objectives:

  • Lead and supervise a team of accountants for the assigned market(s) and processes
  • Serve as the point of contact for issues escalation within the R2R process
  • Managing service delivery as per Service Level Agreements (SLAs), including sourcing talent as well as maintaining and governing the assigned end to end processes
  • Drive operational and process excellence [i.e. standardization, taxonomy
  • Perform Business Reviews [i.e. R2R Performance, Issue management, projects

Responsibilities:

Primary:

  • Manage the R2R Shared Services team to support the assigned market(s) starting with General Ledger activities.
  • Ensure month-end closing tasks are completed in a timely manner and Group's month-end closing timelines are met consistently.
  • Collaborate with process stakeholders to ensure effective and efficient process operations.
  • Manage service delivery and SLAs and ensure KPIs are met.
  • Analyze and present performance results to R2R Regional Process Owner and other stakeholders in relevant governance forums (e.g. Monthly, Quarterly Business Review, etc)
  • To be involved in R2R Transformation projects and provide inputs that will drive process-related investment decisions and implementation.
  • Ensure processes are compliant with any regulations and internal controls / risk management measures

Others:

  • Maintain up to date process documentation
  • Drive standardization of processes and systems within the area of responsibilities
  • Liaise with relevant stakeholders at Delivery Hero / regional teams (e.g. Procurement,
  • Risk & Compliance, Finance Systems, Accounting, Controlling) to understand and implement relevant policies and procedures connected with the R2R processes
  • Actively help to solve R2R and finance operations related issues and problems in an effective manner
  • Liaise with Central (Delivery Hero), Regional and Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) teams on managing relevant policies and procedures affecting R2R processes
  • Support internal and external audits
  • Any other activities assigned from time to time by the R2R Regional Process Owner

Qualifications

  • Strongly preferred to have ave CPA, CA, ACCA or equivalent certification
  • 8+ years of experience in accounting/ finance roles
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS, financial close, consolidation, intercompany accounting,
  • and external reporting
  • Knowledge of working in global business environment with sound understanding of
  • global process and transactional flows
  • Experience with large-scale ERP platforms, preferably SAP and finance transformation
  • projects
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, including working with global teams across
  • time zones
  • Proven track record in process improvement, automation, and compliance in a tech-
  • enabled environment
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and change management skills.
