Key Account Manager - Retail (Dagligvarer) will have a central role in this growth journey through developing our key partnerships—primarily within the grocery segment.
As Key Account Manager - Retail (Groceries), you will be responsible for building and further developing strategic partnerships with our largest chains. Your goal is to ensure profitable and sustainable growth for both partners and Foodora. You will work closely with several departments internally—including sales, operations, and marketing—to find good solutions, drive growth, and deliver a first-class experience for our partners and customers.
We are looking for someone who has commercial acumen, likes to solve problems, and thrives in working both strategically and operationally. Experience from retail or FMCG is a big advantage.
Your Responsibilities:
- Result responsibility for your chains and partners.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key partners; chain offices and stores.
- Develop, implement, and execute strategies that ensure healthy and profitable growth.
- Lead negotiations on chain agreements, promotions, and other commercial initiatives.
- Handle ad-hoc challenges and find solutions that create value for both parties.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure optimal results.
- Analyze data and insights to improve partner and customer offerings.
- Be closely involved in the daily operations and ensure high quality for partner and customer.
Kvalifikasjoner
We are looking for you who:
- Have several years of experience from account management, business development, or similar roles—preferably from retail or FMCG.
- Have a strong commercial understanding and are driven by creating growth.
- Are a good relationship builder, and are good at creating trust and long-term partnerships.
- Thrive in working both strategically towards chain offices and operationally with store employees.
- Are proactive, solution-oriented, analytical, and structured.
- Have experience working across different teams and fields, and thrive in contributing beyond your own area of work.
- Know the grocery and/or retail market and have an overview of trends and actors.
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment with a high degree of autonomy and many balls in the air.
- Think it is important to have fun at work, and thrive in being a contributor to the workplace culture.
