Summary:

This position will be responsible for overseeing construction projects in New Castle County as an Area Engineer. Responsibilities include constructability plan reviews on projects in development, coordinating and chairing Preconstruction and Progress Meetings, interpreting contract plans and specifications, reviewing and responding to Contractor requests for information or change orders, negotiating new pricing for changes to contracts, monitoring project budgets and schedules, drafting contract related correspondence, supervising field inspection staff, coordinating with other sections of the Department, and other duties as required.
