Are you a collaborative Java Spring Software Engineer looking to work for a mission driven global organization? This FTE will ensure ongoing expertise in authentication and authorization workflows. This a new role as part of our mission critical initiative within Identity and Access Management program.
This newly created team is building a new Authentication and Authorization layer to protect all of our Health Markets products.
Must be in a Software Developer role using Java, Spring, and Python. Should have taken multiple applications through the full project life cycle development process. Must have current and extensive experience participating in the Agile delivery process for software development. Must be working on an Identity and Access Management (IAM) or other Cyber Security based application. Please do not apply without this experience. Must be able to communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams consisting of technical and non-technical professionals.
You will be part of a newly created team entrusted with building an Identity and Access Management (IAM) layer that will be used by all of our health markets products. Design, develop, and maintain secure and scalable applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Python. Take ownership of the full software development life cycle (SDLC) — from architecture and coding to testing, deployment, and post-release support. Implement reusable components and APIs that align with enterprise security and identity management frameworks. Build and enhance features for Identity and Access Management systems, including authentication, authorization, single sign-on (SSO), and role-based access control (RBAC). Integrate with OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, LDAP, and SAML standards to ensure secure user provisioning and access enforcement across distributed applications. Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to maintain compliance with corporate and regulatory security standards (HIPAA, SOC 2, etc.). Partner with cross-functional teams — including DevOps, Security, QA, and Product — to deliver cohesive, high-quality solutions. Contribute to the continuous improvement of internal development processes, tools, and automation strategies.

U.S. National Base Pay Range: $77,300 - $128,700. Geographic differentials may apply in some locations to better reflect local market rates. If performed in Maryland, the pay range is $81,200 - $135,200. This job is eligible for an annual incentive bonus.
