We're looking for a bilingual sales leader (Japanese & English) to drive Degreed's growth in Japan — a region that plays a key role in our global strategy. You'll report to the Head of Partner Channel, APJ and take ownership of both net new logo acquisition and partner-led revenue expansion.

You know how the enterprise market in Japan works, how trust is built, how partnerships evolve, and how cloud-based solutions are sold and implemented. You're comfortable leading the full sales cycle: from discovery to demo, from partner alignment to project delivery.

This is a high-impact role for someone who thrives in cross-cultural environments, brings clarity to complexity, and is excited to grow something with long-term value.

Key Skills

  • Bilingual fluency in Japanese and English, with confidence in navigating both internal and external conversations.
  • Strong enterprise sales experience in Tokyo, with a track record of building and managing high-trust partnerships.
  • Solid technical fluency — comfortable running demos and supporting partners through implementation.
  • Able to represent Degreed in Japan, serving as the local face of the brand and leading conversations with credibility.
  • Skilled storyteller, with the ability to connect product value to business outcomes. Experience in EdTech or LMS is a plus.
  • Comfortable working in start-up or high-growth environments, especially when opening new markets.
  • Familiarity with large SI partners such as Hitachi, NT Systems, CTC, NS Solutions, ITOCHU Systems, or similar.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and exceed the Japan revenue quota for 2026.
  • Build and scale a partner ecosystem that drives both pipeline and revenue growth.
  • Provide technical support to partners — from product demonstrations to delivery troubleshooting.
  • Enable and mentor partner teams to understand and successfully sell Degreed in the Japan market.
  • Expand Degreed's presence by upselling into existing accounts and adding products across the customer base.
