UCT is looking for a talented Mechanical Designer to join us in Israel!

Job Summary:

  • Developing new products in flow transmission accessories and solutions for the semiconductor industry and high-pressure systems under extreme conditions.

Job Requirements:

  • Perform static and dynamic structural analyses, including nonlinear simulations, optimization, and analytical calculations
  • Evaluate structural integrity and performance under various loading conditions (thermal, dynamic, fatigue, etc.)
  • Drive design optimization by updating CAD components and assemblies
  • Interpret simulation and test results to support design improvements and engineering decisions
  • Plan and lead experimental testing activities for design validation and verification
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation

Required Skills:

  • BSc (or higher) in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience applying structural FEA analysis to real-world products, including validation with test data
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Strong foundation in strength of materials, structural mechanics, and mechanical design principles
  • Experience performing static, dynamic, nonlinear, and optimization analyses
  • Excellent technical communication and reporting skills
  • Good English

Ways to Stand Out:

  • Graduated with honors
  • MSc degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, demonstrating strong self-learning and independent research capabilities
  • Proficiency in technical analysis tools such as MATLAB and/or Python
  • Experience with SolidWorks CAD tool
  • Hands-on experience with ANSYS Workbench (FEA)
  • Knowledge of thermal, thermodynamic, and flow analyses (CFD)
