UCT is looking for a talented Customer Quality Engineer I to join us in Cebu!
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Customer Complaint Handling: Deal with customer complaints, integrate customer, field service, manufacturing, test, supplier, brother factory, etc. information to drive multi–dep to do investigation and complete root cause analysis and corrective actions. Submit reports to customers until they are satisfied.
- Communicate well with customers, review and analyze customer scorecards, drive and track improvement.
- Quality Indicators Analysis: Collect external and internal quality data, QPPM, DPU, Internal FQC FPY, Customer FAIR FPY, and do trend analysis; Organize meetings with relevant departments, focus on issues and weaknesses, then drive the team to do continuous improvement.
- Quality Support: Collect and understand customer specs and requirements; Provide necessary training (Spec/Inspection) to company members; Create work instructions and checklists to guide product inspection; Assist the supervisor to do inspector qualification.
- Review, evaluate, and follow customer or internal ESW/ECO/ECR and monitor the implementation status
- Ensure all required quality reports, like PQR, FAIR, etc., are prepared and kept up to date in accordance with customer requirements.
- Review of Customer First Article Inspection Report and submit it on the customer website.
- Review of Supplier First Article Inspection Report and upload to Agile.
- Track and monitor quality trends until customer approval when introducing new projects.
- Coordinate and manage corrective and preventive action items in response to customer QNs/ claims.
- Prepare for customer audit and follow-up.
- Perform other work as supervised by the Team Lead/ Manager.
Educational/Certification Requirement:
- College degree, Electronics, Industrial, or Mechanical major preferred.
Experience Requirement:
- At least 1–2 years of experience in CQE management. Fresh graduates with a relevant academic background in quality engineering or a related field are also encouraged to apply.
- Proficient in ISO 9001and related system
- Proficient in MS Office.
- Proven track record of excellent management and leadership skills, including capacity-building, coaching, mentoring, performance management, intervention, and resolution skills, is essential.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including early morning and night schedules.
