What you'll achieve:

You'll be working on DeepUnity PACSonWEB, a cloud native platform for diagnosing medical images and for the distribution of images and diagnostic reports to all healthcare providers involved in the treatment of the patient and to the patient.

The product is used to distribute images created in nearly 500 hospitals and private practices and processes millions of images a day. Given the huge amount of crucial medical data scaling, performance and security aspects are crucial in this state-of-the-art solution.

You would be based in our Malaga office with the possibility to work from home several days a week. You will collaborate closely with the Belgium offices and travel to meet your Belgium colleagues in person a few times per year.

You will:

  • Be part of one of the DU PACSonWEB scrum teams.
  • Be responsible for designing and developing fixes and functional improvements to the product.
  • Work on the full stack ranging from DB design, backend services to the UI.
  • Directly interact with the product owner and product manager to make sure the changes meet the customers' expectations.
  • Interact directly with service and infrastructure engineer to continuously improve the serviceability and maintainability of the product.
  • Create automated tests and process feedback from static code analysis to ensure premium quality.

Essential Requirements:

  • You have a bachelor or master in software development.
  • You are fluent in English (spoken as well as written).
  • You are highly analytical and have a passion for software development.
  • You have hands on experience with web development (html, javascript, CSS, …).
  • You have hands on experience with a .NET technology stack.
  • You have experience with relational Databases.

Desirable Requirements:

  • Experience with the following technologies is a plus:
  • SQL Server
  • C#, .NET Framework and .NET Core
  • Xamarin
  • React
  • MS Orleans
  • GitHub
  • Experience with Healthcare standard (HL7/DICOM) is a plus
