Weekends: 2.5 weekends in a 6 week schedule

Job Summary
Day to day, you would be responsible for providing care to patients. Our nursing staff demonstrates their knowledge, critical thinking, and judgment. Services provided by the RN include; supervising care delivered, coordinating plans of care, and providing education for patients/families.
The Women and Infant Services RN will have a thorough knowledge of the anatomy, physiology, and complications of the newborn (32 weeks and above) and female childbearing years and an understanding of the labor and delivery process. The RN will provide nursing care to promote a positive and safe childbearing experience. The RN will be able to interpret fetal monitor strips, assess cervical dilation via vaginal exams, and initiate emergency treatment according to Standard of Care and/or Protocol. The RN will also provide education for the patient and families addressing the educational needs that have been identified.
