Director, Clinical Services and Operations
The Director, Clinical Services and Operations is a senior clinical leader responsible for shaping and executing clinical strategies across the division. This role partners closely with divisional and operational leaders to drive measurable improvements in quality, safety, and patient outcomes. The DCS leads through influence, accountability, and talent development, ensuring clinical initiatives translate into sustainable results across all modalities.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Safety Response & Readiness
- Lead divisional readiness for safety events and regulatory oversight, ensuring strong systems, timely response, and sustained compliance
- Hold Clinical Services Managers accountable for core safety responsibilities and consistent execution of safety processes
- Provide on-site leadership during significant safety events or regulatory surveys (including CMS and CLUE)
Clinical Leadership & Talent Development
- Lead, coach, and develop Clinical Services Managers to deliver strong clinical and operational performance
- Address performance gaps through targeted coaching and relationship management
- Build a strong leadership bench by supporting development planning, growth opportunities, and succession readiness
- Identify and prioritize clinical outliers and performance opportunities with the greatest impact on patient care and outcomes
- Partner with Operations and Home leaders to design and execute improvement strategies
- Allocate resources strategically to maximize clinical value and safety outcomes
- Align teams across the division to deliver consistent, high-quality results across all modalities
Clinical Strategy & Execution
- Partner with the Divisional Vice President to set the clinical vision and strategic priorities for the division
- Translate strategy into actionable initiatives with clear ownership, timelines, and measurable outcomes
- Lead execution of clinical initiatives, ensuring accountability and sustained performance improvement
- Monitor progress and adjust strategy based on data, outcomes, and evolving business needs
Education and Experience
Required
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN) or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) or related field
- Minimum of 8-10 years of clinical experience, with at least 4 years in a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and quality improvement processes.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Intermediate computer skills and proficiency in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Preferred:
- Master's degree in nursing, Healthcare Administration, or related field.
- Experience in dialysis or nephrology.
- Certification in healthcare quality or patient safety.
- Experience managing remote teammates.
