Palantir Sr Data Engineer
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Data Engineer with strong expertise in AI/ML, Python, TypeScript.
Key Requirements:
- 7+ years of experience in Data Engineering / AI/ML roles
- Strong hands-on experience in Python, TypeScript, and ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn)
- Experience with Generative AI / LLMs and traditional machine learning models
- Palantir Foundry experience is a strong plus
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement AI/ML models tailored to business use cases, preferably in Insurance or similar domains
- Select appropriate algorithms and architectures based on data characteristics, performance needs, and use case complexity
- Perform feature engineering, hyperparameter tuning, and model validation to improve performance and generalization
- Build and deploy scalable ML models using modern ML tools and frameworks
- Evaluate model performance using statistical metrics and real-world testing to ensure robustness, fairness, and accuracy
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers and business stakeholders to integrate models into production
- Monitor, maintain, and retrain models to ensure ongoing performance, compliance, and relevance
- Document model development processes for reproducibility and knowledge sharing
- Stay current with advancements in ML, including transformers, graph neural networks, MLflow, Kubeflow, Hugging Face, and related tools
- Experience with Palantir Foundry / AIP / Functions is a strong advantage
