Data Engineer

We are looking for a versatile and solution-oriented Customer Data Platform (CDP) Specialist to join our team. This role is ideal for professionals who thrive on solving business use cases using customer data and are comfortable working across data engineering, integrations, and activation workflows. You will primarily work with Adobe Experience Platform (AEP), including Real-Time CDP (RT-CDP) and Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO), to support end-to-end use case delivery—from data ingestion to journey orchestration and channel activation. While deep expertise in other Adobe tools is not required, familiarity with the broader Adobe stack is a plus.

Must have skills:

• Hands on experience with AEP and AJO
• Data Engineering
• Experience on API methodologies (SOAP, REST, CURL)
• Understanding of Database fundamentals, Data model & Architecture
• Scripting experience on Python or Java Scripting or Node.JS

Good to have skills:

• Cloud based Data Integration using Big Data Platforms
• Demonstrate understanding of Data Ingestion, Developer Console
• Complex SQL or NoSQL experience
• Expertise on various kinds of Data Handling - JSON, Parquet etc
• Client facing experience
• Experience with other CDP like Uniphore, TreasureData, Segment, Tealium, Hightouch

Key responsibilities:

• Create/Implement schemas and other data objects based on the defined data model.
• Responsible for data ingestion into CDP platforms via both batch and real time streaming mode - API, JavaScript etc
• Well versed with APIs, reading/creating/debugging, have effectively used Postman and Swagger
• Responsible for data validation and analysis using APIs
• Demonstrate understanding of Developer Console, data ingestions and query services (using APIs)
• Should be able to work on queries, segment development, audience creation/activations
• Should be able to implement data elements, rules, transformations inside CDP dataflows
• Works very closely with Data Architect in order to align development activities
• Responsible for working on scripts and developing custom solutions
• Should be able to define segments and orchestrate customer journey based on the BRD
• Proficiency developing with Javascript, Python, implement reusable javascript snippets that can be used across platform.

Education Qualification:

• Bachelors in Engineering with a specialisation in Computer Science, Data, IT
• Graduate from other fields with good communication and analytical skills

Certification If Any:

• AD0-E602 Adobe Real-Time CDP Business Practitioner Professional OR Higher
• AD0-E607 Adobe Journey Optimizer Business Practitioner Professional OR Higher
• Other CDP certifications (Salesforce, Treasure Data)
