Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using React and Salesforce B2C Commerce Cloud (SFCC).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements, design solutions, and deliver new features.
• Optimise application performance across frontend and backend layers, including caching, query tuning, and asset optimisation.
• Integrate and manage third-party services, including payment gateways, shipping providers, CMS systems, and external APIs.
• Develop custom cartridges, integrations, and SFRA-based functionality within SFCC.
• Write and maintain unit, integration, and functional tests using frameworks such as Mocha, Chai, and React Testing Library.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines to ensure smooth and automated deployments.
• Uphold high standards of code quality, architecture, and engineering best practices.
• Provide technical leadership, conduct thorough code reviews, and mentor junior engineers.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• 5+ years of professional full-stack development experience.
• Proficiency with React, modern JavaScript/TypeScript, and SFCC (Demandware).
• Hands-on experience with SFRA, controllers, ISML templates, and server-side JavaScript in Commerce Cloud.
• Strong understanding of frontend and backend performance optimisation techniques.
• Proven experience integrating third-party services and APIs.
• Experience with testing frameworks such as Mocha, Chai, and React Testing Library.
• Solid knowledge of Git and common branching workflows.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and communication abilities.
