Job Description
- Developing new user-facing features using React / Angular / Vue.js or Vanilla JS
- Building reusable components and front-end libraries
- Translating designs and wireframes into high-quality code
- Optimization of components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers
- Design front-end architectures for component library integration with multiple platforms
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- At least 4 years of Information Technology experience
- Experience with HTML5 and CSS3 / SCSS
- Experience with one of the major JS libraries or frameworks (React/Nextjs, Vue/Nuxt)
- Knowledge and experience with full software development lifecycle
- Experience with Lean / Agile development methodologies
- Experience with Optimisations on an existing component library (APIs, component Library, …)
- Hands-on mentality when needed on bug fixes, backlog, support tickets
- A good sense for User Experience and Design as a whole
- Ability to establish good communication flows between stakeholders, designers and developers in the team
- Knowledge about Overall Frontend Architecture Evaluation and Scalability
- Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
- Ability to work in diverse teams
- German and English professional proficiency
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model
- Thorough understanding of React / Angular / Vue.js and its core principles
- Experience with popular React / Angular / Vue.js workflows (such as Redux / NgRx / Vuex)
- Familiarity with newer specifications of ECMAScript
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs
- Familiarity with modern frontend build pipelines and tools
- Experience with common frontend development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, etc.
- Experience with Implementation and development around motion, a11y, design tokens, theming and more
- A Mindset for benchmarking and optimisation
- Familiarity with code versioning tools (GIT based)
- Experience with Design Systems implementation most valued
