We are looking for a Senior Cloud Software Engineer (Java) to join our team.

We are looking for someone able to:

1. Design and write clean, high-quality, scalable, and maintainable code.
2. Design and build cloud-native and service-oriented solutions on AWS and Kubernetes environments.
3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements, propose solutions, and drive optimization and improvement initiatives.
4. Conduct code reviews, provide recommendations, and lead code refactoring and performance enhancement efforts.
5. Mentor junior developers.
6. Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, ensuring timely resolutions.
7. Implement proof of concepts, prototypes, and production-grade software.
8. Integrate applications with other enterprise systems using industry-standard integration technologies and best practices.
9. Work with monitoring tools to enhance system performance and lead performance improvement initiatives.
10. Explore, evaluate, and drive the adoption of new technologies and frameworks to improve system architecture and development processes.
11. Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate software delivery processes.
12. Write automated tests to ensure application quality.
13. Ensure compliance with coding standards, best practices, and security guidelines, and drive the adoption of best practices across the team.
14. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements, share knowledge with the team, and drive continuous learning and improvement initiatives.

Your profile:

• 5+ years of experience in Java development.
• 5+ years of experience in developing microservice applications.
• Proficient in building solutions on AWS, Azure or GCP.
• Proficiency with container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with code quality tools like SonarQube.
• Knowledge of Istio, Envoy, and Dapr is a plus.
• Good knowledge of application design patterns.
• Proficiency in designing and architecting robust RESTful APIs.
• Proficient in GIT, with knowledge of branching strategies, code reviews, and best practices.
• Proficiency in integrating and utilizing the ELK stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana).
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication skills to work efficiently within cross-functional teams and across departments, both written and verbal.
• Ability to use a wide variety of open-source technologies and tools.
• Of curious nature and open-minded.
• Experience working in an Agile, fast-paced, DevOps environment.
• Degree in computer science, information technology, or an equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.
• Fluent in English.
