What your typical day will look like:

As the Cyber Operations Analyst, you are the first line of defense in safeguarding the organization’s digital environment. You will monitor security events in real time, investigate anomalies, and escalate incidents where necessary. Your role is crucial in identifying threats early, ensuring timely response, and contributing to the continuous improvement of our security posture.

Core responsibilities include:

  • Monitor and manage security tools, respond to alerts in real time, and escalate incidents as needed.
  • Conduct risk and vulnerability assessments, investigating anomalies and potential compromises.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of cyber threats, attacker techniques, and security best practices.
  • Manage cybersecurity support queues, ensuring timely resolution of tickets in line with SLAs.

A bit about you:

  • Possess strong interest in Cybersecurity and dedication for growth.
  • Willingness to work on the night shift (1am–9am Malaysia time).
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to perform under pressure.
  • Good organizational and time management skills, able to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Exposure to areas such as ticket management, security tools, vulnerability management, or platform administration is an advantage.
