Field Service Engineer (F/M/D)

The Field Service Engineer (F/M/D) for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of diagnostic systems, immunoassay, clinical chemistry, and automation systems. This position is part of the field service team and will be based in the Vienna region. Our vision at Beckman Coulter is to reshape the healthcare industry from diagnosis to diagnosis.

You will be part of the field service team and report to the regional service manager, who is responsible for customer support. If you are comfortable in a supportive role and want to contribute to building a top-notch customer service organization, read on.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Installation, maintenance, and repair of diagnostic systems, immunoassay, clinical chemistry, and automation systems
• Adherence to relevant regulations such as MPG, MedGV, and VDE as well as Beckman Coulter quality regulations
• Briefing laboratory users and answering technical questions from our customers
• Close collaboration with colleagues from sales, application, service hotline, and service dispatch
• Organization and optimization of personal spare parts inventory
• Timely completion of all administrative tasks such as recording customer service reports with service max

The essential requirements for the position include:

• You have a completed technician's training and/or a comparable degree in the natural sciences and technical field
• You are proficient in the areas of electronics, mechanics, hydraulics, computer interfaces, and measurement technology
• IT topics are familiar to you: you enjoy setting up and managing networks, servers, firewalls, interfaces, etc.
• You bring a high degree of independence and are accustomed to acting independently
• Very good, fluent German language skills are required for communication with our customers
• Very good MS Office skills + Oracle skills are advantageous
• Travel readiness, valid driver's license class B

It would be beneficial if you also have previous experience in this area:

• Experience in a technical service company, ideally in the healthcare sector
• Relevant knowledge of regulations and standards for IVDs.
