As a Sales Specialist Digital Pathology (w/m/d) at Leica Biosystems, you are responsible for providing workflow expertise necessary to win complex projects in the field of Digital Pathology.

This position is part of the Sales Digital Pathology Teams in DACH and you will work fully from home. At Leica Biosystems, we have the vision to advance cancer diagnostics and improve lives.

You will be part of the Digital Pathology Sales Team and report to the Sales Manager Digital Pathology DACH, who is responsible for the successful implementation of the Global Digital Pathology Strategy in DACH. In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Determine the status quo of laboratory operations at the customer based on your expertise and develop possible future system solutions for them.
• Plan, present, and demonstrate the possible system solutions to the customer in close collaboration with the internal team.
• Work with the key stakeholders of our customers, internal team members, and third-party providers to find the best possible solution for our customers.
• Accompany system solutions through all phases of integration and implementation at the customer.
• Provide further support to customers and their system solutions.

The essential requirements for this position include:

• Ideally at least 2 years of laboratory experience, preferably in a histology lab.
• IT affinity and basic understanding of digitalization in the laboratory environment.
• Proven ability to learn in technical areas with limited experience.
• Strong analytical, verbal, and written communication/presentation skills.
• Fluent German and English language skills.
• Ideally laboratory experience, preferably in a histology lab.
• Of great advantage: IT affinity, experience with image management and analysis system, and basic understanding of digitalization in the laboratory environment.
• Proven ability to learn in technical areas with limited experience.
• Strong analytical, verbal, and written communication/presentation skills.
• Fluent German and English language skills.

It would be beneficial if you also have experience in the following areas:

• Customer support in the medical and/or research environment.
• Independently planning and executing projects.
