The Field Service Engineer is responsible for daily service support of the existing customer base, also responsible for supporting sales growth, service growth and customer satisfaction. Field Service Engineers are responsible for repair, installation, and maintenance of Beckman Coulter equipment at customer sites.
This position reports to the Service Supervisor and is part of the Service organization located in Brazil will be fully remote.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
· Build KPIs to constantly challenge your individual performance to meet the service targets established as part of the performance objectives
· Promote strong interaction with operational areas of BEC LS - Applications, Marketing & Administration and Sales
· Establish and maintain relationship at all levels with customers to leverage contacts, information and maximize their experience
The essential requirements of the job include:
· Sense of Urgency ‐ must have the drive/motivation to act. Must be able to prioritize daily activities and determine what requires immediate attention.
· Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineer, or Biological.
· +3 years of prior field service experience in diagnostics / research field is required.
Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:
· Able to travel 50 ‐75% of the time.
· Must have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
· Ability to lift 66 pounds (about 30kg)
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
· Flow Cytometry
· Liquid Handling
· Centrifuge
