The Field Service Engineer is responsible for repairs, installations, maintenance, qualifications and calibrations of Cytiva equipment at customer sites around LATAM region.

This position reports to the Area Service Manager and is part of the Equipment Services – Hardware Solutions team working at customer sites to cover LATAM region.

What you will do:

• Responsible for repairs, installation, maintenance, and calibration of Cytiva equipment at customer sites around LATAM region
• Inclination and ability to listen to various stakeholders (e.g. Customers, Sales, Customer Service) and generate actionable insights
• Team mindset to work with and support fellow FSE's and service team members
• Sense of Urgency - must have the drive/motivation to act. Must be able to prioritize daily activities and determine what requires immediate attention
• The engineer also supports sales growth, service growth and customer satisfaction

Who you are:

• Bachelors (engineering discipline)
• 5 + years of prior field service experience in related fields on biotechnology companies, Laboratories, or medical devices industry
• Electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical troubleshooting, theory, and applications
• Highly computer literate
• English – fluent to receive technical training in English

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements: if applicable for role

• Able to travel 75% of the time, including international trips
• Drive License

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Service Max - Oracle – SAP
• Commercial experience, including direct selling of products or services
• Fluent in Portuguese and Spanish
