As a Service Technician/Engineer (M/W/D) for Mass Spectrometry/HPLC, you will install new LCMS systems and train customers on the application and ensure the performance of existing systems through optimal maintenance, qualification, and repairs.

This position is part of the DACH service team and is located in the Hamburg or Berlin area and respective surroundings from home office (remote). You will sustainably increase customer satisfaction and service development and systematically build trust with existing customers. You will work in a team to continuously improve the service for our customers.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Independently plan and organize service missions consisting of installations of new systems, maintenance, qualification, repairs, and training of system users.
  • Maintain customer data by carefully and promptly creating reports and systematically recording and reporting errors.
  • Actively collaborate with colleagues from service, sales, and technical support.
  • Regularly participate in internal product training.
  • Sustainably increase customer satisfaction, revenue growth, and systematically build trust with existing customers.
  • Work as a team to continuously improve service performance for our customers.

The essential requirements for this position include:

  • Completed technical vocational training, ideally with further education to state-certified technician (m/w/d), or a completed degree in electrical engineering, medical technology, chemistry, or physics.
  • Willingness to occasionally travel several days in a row for customer visits and/or training, a driver’s license is required.
  • German and English proficient in writing and speaking.

It would be beneficial if you also have experience in the following areas:

  • Field experience in the outside service.
  • Basic knowledge of mass spectrometry, chromatography, or similar technology.
  • Computer skills in Windows and MS Office.
