Join our family. Are you an HR Business Partner ready for the next step in your career? Damen Services offers you the opportunity to grow into a versatile role as HR Business Partner, where you will both tactically think and be operationally involved in the HR work for our global organization.

We are a growing international service organization within Damen Shipyards Group, active in geographical areas such as Americas, Africa, Europe, the Middle East, and Australia. With over 360 employees worldwide, a large part working in the Netherlands, we provide technical service and support to customers around the world.

You will join an HR team consisting of: two HR Business Partners (including yourself), an HR Manager, and an International Payroll Officer. Together, you are responsible for the full HR spectrum within Damen Services. You will work closely with the shared service center and expertise centers organized at group level. You can count on support from our HR Support department, which answers first-line questions from employees and ensures careful handling of administrative HR processes, such as the drafting of employment contracts.

This role is ideal for someone who already has experience in HR and is now ready to make the step to a broader, international HR function. You will work hands-on on daily HR issues and develop into a full partner for the Area Management Teams and Service Line MT's.

What will you do?

• Think with Area Management MT's and Service Line MT's about the course to follow;
• Advise managers on HR-related topics such as absenteeism, inflow, outflow, and development;
• Support international HR projects and ensure implementation;
• Contribute to projects in the field of organizational development and talent management;
• Work together with colleagues worldwide and navigate between different cultures and time zones;
• Actively contribute to the further professionalization of HR within Damen Services.

Who are we looking for?

• Completed higher professional education in HRM, business administration, or similar;
• 2–3 years of experience as an HR Business Partner or 3-5 years of experience as an HR Advisor or similar role;
• Hands-on mentality and strong communication skills;
• Affinities with an international and technical working environment;
• Good command of Dutch and English.
