What is Behavior Support?
Behavior Support performs a variety of tasks related to the care of clients served by Damar.
What would I be doing?
Some duties include client supervision and care, crisis management, promoting appropriate social behaviors, and supporting clients in achieving their maximum potential.
Where would I work with clients?
For this particular role, you could work on our Children's Residential campus located at 6067 Decatur Boulevard in Indianapolis.
What are the hours?
1st shift (7:00 am - 3:30 pm / weekend rotation every 3rd week)
2nd shift (3:00 pm - 11:30 pm / weekend rotation every 3rd week)
3rd shift (11:00 pm -7:30 am / rotating weekends)
Weekend (7:00 am - 11:00 pm / Sat & Sun) *Can pick up an optional 8 hour shift Monday-Friday

Physical : Primary functions require sufficient physical ability and mobility to work in an office setting; to stand or sit for prolonged periods of time; to occasionally stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist; to lift, carry, push, and/or pull light to moderate amounts of weight (up to 35lbs); to operate office equipment requiring repetitive hand movement and fine coordination including use of a computer keyboard; to travel to other locations using various modes of private and commercial transportation; and to verbally communicate to exchange information.
