The Lead Director, Sales will work in conjunction with the VP Client Success, SVP Client Growth and Success and other company executives to promote and sell the services of Signify to its existing and growing customer and prospect base. The Lead Director, Sales will be responsible for generating new leads with our existing customer base, presenting the company's services to prospective clients, addressing prospect questions, negotiating contracts within parameters set by company leadership and closing deals. This position will be expected to travel to client/prospect sites as well as industry events throughout the year.

This role will report to our VP, Client Success. This role is remote in any state.

What will you do?

  1. Develop immediate and practical experience in securing new sales and vetting new approaches in the health services market specifically for technology related products which Signify offers health plan clients.
  2. Implement strategic sales and retention activities
  3. Provide regular updates to the Executive Leadership Team, VP, Client Growth and SVP Client Growth and Success
  4. Identify new sales approaches to improve the prospect assimilation process
  5. Create presentations to provide client specific clinical and operational outcomes, ROI, new company offerings and the overall value proposition of engaging in health risk assessment solutions
  6. Research and analyze environmental and competitive conditions, customer needs, and market trends.
  7. Strategize to capitalize on market opportunities and ensure strategic sales plans complement market place needs
  8. Immediately upon hire, quickly develop strong relationships with clients/customers, trade professionals, and external contacts and engage Signify C-Suite with these key contacts
  9. Ensure sales plans, goals, and policies are consistent with Company-wide new client and revenue goals
  10. Operate independently in the field with respects to Prospecting and Qualification of new business
  11. Knowledge of competitive landscape and product offerings and pricing in the Risk Adjustment marketplace
  12. Ensure existing clients/customers are serviced in accordance with Company standards and policies
  13. Ensure all existing and prospective clients/customers are exposed to ALL product offerings of Signify Health
  14. Research and evaluate current and potential markets for sales opportunities
  15. Establish and maintain effective communication and coordination with Company internal departments and teams
  16. Identify and attend industry trade shows, professional meetings and seminars as needed
  17. Keep up-to-date on industry, market, product, and technology trends and provide regular updates to the management team for possible product / service development
  18. Assume other duties/responsibilities as assigned

We are looking for someone with:

  • 5-7 years experience prospecting new business accounts and selling Risk Adjustment related services and/or software products in a hunter sales role directly to health plans
  • Minimum five years experience selling large healthcare clients in the healthcare Payer market is required. Medicare Advantage, Commercial and/or Medicaid and 5+ years experience preferred
  • Extensive experience calling on and selling to C-suite level healthcare executives and critical business users of our products
  • Proven track record closing deals with large/medium health plans AND direct sales into provider groups across the country.
  • Excellent understanding of market penetration strategies, market development techniques, and market segmentation strategies
  • Able to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial work environment and perform multiple roles and functions
  • Strong organizational and quality management skills with ability to handle multiple, competing tasks and priorities
  • Experience maintaining a sales pipeline through Salesforce
  • Ability to travel up to 40%

Time Type: Full time

Pay Range: The typical pay range for this role is: $105,000.00 - $231,132.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.
