Formulary Regulatory Support Sr. Manager

Position Summary: The Formulary Regulatory Support Sr. Manager will ensure timely, accurate, and compliant responses to regulatory, state, and auditor requests for documentation, reports, and operational data related to template formularies and utilization management programs in addition to supporting other formulary related programs and tasks. This role is critical in maintaining organizational transparency and mitigating compliance risks while ensuring other programs managed by the Formulary Product Team are achieving functional, operational and financial targets. This position reports to Lead Director, Formulary Product Development.
Key Responsibilities:
- This role will serve as the primary point of contact for incoming regulatory and audit requests related to formulary and utilization management programs. The person who fills the role must ensure all responses meet internal standards and regulatory expectations.
- This role will work in conjunction with appropriate stakeholders to develop and ensure on-time submission of responses. The person who fills the role must be able to understand and translate internal information into the appropriate formats for external users to easily understand, in both written and verbal forms.
- This role will be responsible to develop and maintain a repository of inquiries and responses to facilitate fast execution of responses while providing high quality, appropriate information, data and documentation. The person who fills this role will be responsible for identification and engagement of key stakeholders for impacted programs to ensure that repository information is up to date and accurate.
- This role will also support other programs and/or products managed by the Formulary Product team as appropriate. The person who fills this role will need to develop, manage and maintain ongoing processes that require both independent work and partnership with other teams. They will manage various project plans to execute on process improvements in the formulary space.
- The person who fills this role must demonstrate a commitment to integrity and the company code of conduct.
Required Qualifications:
- 7+ years experience in PBM, Health Plan, or Compliance/ Audit Response
- 5+ years relevant work experience required in a setting requiring strong independent ownership and ability to think strategically
- Exceptional organizational skills including the ability to manage multiple concurrent requests under tight deadlines.
- Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, to deliver results that are succinct and clear
- Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills
- Strong computer skills (MS Excel, MS Word, other MS Office applications, etc.)
Preferred Qualifications:
- 3+ years of pharmacy formulary knowledge
- Proven track record in working within a matrix organization to ensure work deliverables are still completed on time.
Education: Bachelor's degree or related relevant experience required. B.S. Pharm, PharmD or Master's degree preferred.
Pay Range: The typical pay range for this role is: $82,940.00 - $182,549.00. This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company's equity award program.
