Associate Systems Engineer

CCS is looking for a motivated technical professional to join our team as an Associate Systems Engineer! This person is responsible for providing network configuration, server support, and deskside support in a K-12 School District environment. The ASE will collaborate with fellow district IT staff members, CCS team members and third-party vendors.

The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for developing customer relationships that promote retention and loyalty. While providing an optimal customer experience, the ISR will assist in all facets of the sales cycle to drive new and recurring business.

The individual should be passionate about enhancing our customers' lives through technology products and solutions. He/She should be a proactive, energetic and skilled communicator. The ideal Inside Sales Representative is self-motivated, detail-oriented and exemplifies a high caliber of customer service. Must be a team player with a positive attitude and willing to go the extra mile.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service and sales support while collaborating with Account Managers
  • Develop and establish rapport with customers
  • Conduct occasional onsite visits to foster existing relationship and become a trusted advisor
  • Fulfill general customer requests
  • Review customers' past sales to discover opportunities to upgrade or renew
  • Create roadmaps for future sales with the AEs to identify business requirements, create holistic solutions, develop multi-year budgets for implementation, lead with upgrades and replacements in favor of continual renewals, identify and communicate ramifications of product going end of support/life
  • Drive new business and increase product adoption, ensuring retention and satisfaction
  • Provide periodic check-ins to remain top of mind and identify unknown client needs
  • Resolve customer concerns, set realistic expectations and escalate issues as necessary
  • Follow up on leads from event attendees to identify upcoming projects to be discussed during quarterly business review
  • Function as interface between account manager and distribution channel
  • Opportunity/proposal coordination
  • RFP/bid response coordination
  • Liaison to partnering departments
  • Manage proposal compilation and collection of proposal components
  • Maintain timeline for completion of proposal milestones
  • Management of warranty/license renewals and product upgrades
  • Use available tools/reports to monitor expiration dates and past sales
  • Review expiring warranty and licenses with Account Manager for validity and status
  • Generate renewal quotes for submission to customer to position and encourage multi-year renewals
  • Provide active follow-up until purchase order is received
  • Deal registration, monitoring and management
  • Enter deal registrations on vendor websites
  • Engage vendor account managers to ensure proper promotions are applied
  • Update CRM with deal registration information
  • Track deal expiration and status
  • Data compliance
  • Update and manage NetSuite records
  • Opportunity creation and updates
  • Sales Order Creation
  • Competitor and win/loss information
  • Ensure customer, lead and prospect information contains latest information and contacts
  • Channel Online Quote Management
  • Product Quotes
  • Creation of product quotes and proposals
  • Manage product discounts and promotions
  • Collaborate with Inside Sales Manager and Director of Sales to determine product margin based on situation: pricing advantage, competitive opportunity, vendor displacement opportunity
  • Communicate with distribution channel for pricing and product lead time
  • Leverage EOY/EOQ opportunities to negotiate deeper discounts
  • Suggest alternatives if/when lead-time is an obstacle
  • Training and Certifications
  • Attend training sessions and take certification exams when offered

Qualifications

• 3 years sales support and/or customer service experience

• 4-year degree or equivalent work experience

  • COL product quote win rate
