Engineer
About the Role:
- Lead and maintain the given units with team lead, meeting all the KPI & target set by the clients and internal management.
- Perform troubleshooting and rectification to get the equipment back to operation status as per contractual obligation.
- Ensure no safety violations while performing maintenance works.
- Ensure he and his men full compliance to performing all maintenance activities for both lift and escalator based on BCA outcomes.
- To continue to upkeep his technical competency and sharpen his technical troubleshooting skills.
- Lead and assist his peers to learn and sharpen their technical competency to resolve complex faults.
- Drive repair and replacement works, liaise with client and quote for approval for the recommended parts. Liaise with admin team and keep track of billing records of all quoted works.
- Able to work beyond working hours (max 12 hours/day) and assist the team in case of complex faults.
- Liaise with client performing all maintenance activities in client premises
- Co-ordinate & attend site inspections with client as and when required.
- To maintain units with zero liability damage from clients & zero notice to maintenance by BCA.
- Maintain zero missed service and with zero number of major complaints.
- Honest in reporting with good attitude.
- Perform tasks and duties assigned by his superiors.
About You:
- Minimum 2–3 years of hands-on experience in lift and escalator maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair.
- Strong technical competency with the ability to lead a team and resolve complex faults independently.
- Familiarity with BCA compliance standards and safety regulations; committed to zero safety violations.
- Effective communication and coordination skills to liaise with clients, contractors, and internal teams.
- Willingness to work extended hours (up to 12 hours/day) and perform site inspections, reporting, and billing follow-ups.
