Backend Developer

What You'll Do:

• Develop and maintain backend services using Java (Spring Boot)
• Optimise system performance, scalability, and reliability
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including frontend developers, product managers, and QA
• Contribute to code reviews and best practices to ensure code quality

What We're Looking For:

• 4+ years of experience in backend software development
• Strong knowledge of Java and Spring Boot
• Experience with RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and database design
• Ability to write clean, maintainable, and efficient code
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities

Bonus Points For:

• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Knowledge of frontend technologies (e.g., React, JavaScript) is a plus
