Service Manager

We are looking for a talented Service Manager to join our team in Service in Downey, CA.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

• Coaches and develops technicians through the advancement process
• Coaches and develops technicians with complex service interventions and diagnostic issues
• Coaches and develops Service Supervisors/Advisors to successfully navigate the repair process
• Manages shop tools/equipment for proper operation
• Safety Committee Member
• Responsible for LOTO adherence and recertification

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

• Knowledge of Diesel and Nat Gas engines
• Experience managing in a shop service environment
• Experience 'scheduling and managing' service personnel
• Knowledge of Cummins Warranty/Policy processes
• Experience with estimating/quoting repairs
• Highly computer literate (MS Office, Outlook)
• Knowledge of Cummins QSOL and Insite programs
• Customer Service experience

Education, Licenses, Certifications:

• College, university, or equivalent degree in a relevant discipline or relevant experience equivalent required.

This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

Significant level of relevant technical experience, including supervisory experience, required.
