We are looking for a talented Administrative Associate Engineering to join our team specializing in Engineering for our CUMMINS in San Luis Potosí, SLP, México.

Job description: This role combines administrative and technical functions. It acts as an extension of general administration, ensuring positive customer experience and representing management to other areas. It provides comprehensive administrative support and technical support to ensure compliance with product, customer, and quality management system requirements. It participates in documentation management, audits, data analysis, and improvement projects, interacting with multiple functional areas.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

  • Facilitate internal and external communication with customers, suppliers, and the media.
  • Maintain the confidentiality of records and files.
  • Coordinate meetings, take minutes, and follow up.
  • Act as a resource for less experienced colleagues.
  • Consult and process information in IMS, ERP, Oracle, GOMS, QSOL, and Windchill systems.
  • Audit technical documents (drawings, specifications, bills of materials).
  • Participate in product change processes (EJRs, MCRs) and data analysis (yield, scrap).
  • Support improvement and risk management projects.
  • Maintain up-to-date technical documentation and share learnings.
  • Stop production in the event of critical non-conformities and coordinate corrective actions.
  • Contribute to internal and external audits.

External Qualifications and Competencies

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

  • Relevant experience in administrative and/or technical roles.
  • Basic knowledge of IMS, ERP, Oracle, GOMS, QSOL, Windchill.
  • Familiarity with EJR and MCR processes.
  • Intermediate English desirable.
  • Ability to interpret drawings and perform data analysis.

Education:

  • Student or intern in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field (desirable).
