Account Management Specialist

We are looking for a talented Account Management Specialist to join our team in Sales in Denver, CO.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

  1. Strengthen Customer Relationships By managing and nurturing business relationships with assigned accounts, you'll build trust and loyalty, ensuring long-term customer satisfaction and retention.
  2. Drive Strategic Sales Growth You'll execute account sales plans and expand existing customer relationships, directly contributing to revenue growth and the achievement of sales goals.
  3. Champion the Voice of the Customer Acting as the customer advocate, you'll ensure their needs and feedback are heard and addressed, influencing internal strategies and service improvements.
  4. Lead Contract and Negotiation Efforts Your role in negotiating and implementing contracts will help secure favorable terms for both the customer and the organization, supporting sustainable partnerships.
  5. Resolve Operational Challenges By managing production and distribution issues, you'll ensure smooth delivery and service execution, maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
  6. Support Cross-Functional Collaboration You'll coordinate with internal stakeholders to balance inventory, service, and delivery capabilities with customer expectations, aligning operations with strategic goals.
  7. Enhance Forecasting and Planning Maintaining accurate sales forecasts and tracking progress will help the business plan effectively and respond proactively to market changes.
  8. Identify and Capitalize on New Opportunities Through business development efforts and cost reduction initiatives, you'll uncover new opportunities and contribute to the organization's competitive edge.

Additional Responsibilities Unique to this Position

Education, Licenses, Certifications:

  • College, university, or equivalent degree in Marketing, Sales, technical or a related subject or an acceptable combination of education and experience required.
  • This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

Experience:

  • Significant level of relevant work experience required, including previous customer and/or product experience required.
  • Purchasing/commercial contract negotiation preferred.

Additional Skills:

  • Position will require 3-5 years minimum of sales direct to consumer.
  • Proven communication skills both verbal and written. Excel and PowerPoint required
  • Organization using Salesforce and reading sales trends and forecasts.
  • Candidates must show or provide results of meeting sales targets and growing business in an assigned area of responsibility or market base.
  • Familiarization with Oil & Gas market or HHP engines is a plus
  • Technical understanding or Cummins engine products, including service contracts and aftermarket business
  • Travel will be 40% with responsibility of up to 4 CSSNA branch locations.
