As a Data Engineer, you'll design and maintain the pipelines that power our analytics, machine learning, and reporting systems. You'll work within a modern Azure and Databricks ecosystem to ensure data is clean, accessible, and scalable. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on building reliable infrastructure, optimizing performance, and collaborating across technical domains to turn raw data into strategic assets.

1. Design, build, and optimize scalable data pipelines and architectures using Databricks, Spark, and SQL

2. Collaborate with analytics, data science, and business teams to deliver reliable, well-modeled datasets

3. Support federated authentication and cross-platform integration (e.g., Snowflake, Azure, Power BI)

4. Participate in code reviews, documentation, and knowledge sharing to elevate team capabilities

5. Monitor and manage cloud resource usage to ensure performance and cost-efficiency

6. Design data workflows with scalability and budget-conscious architecture in mind

7. Develop and maintain ELT and medallion architecture pipelines across Azure and Databricks

8. Ensure data quality, lineage, and availability for downstream consumers

9. Apply appropriate security, compliance, and data privacy or governance frameworks (CCPA, HIPAA, GDPR, etc)

10. Monitor and tune pipeline performance for speed, cost, and reliability

Data Architects: Align on schema design, governance standards, and infrastructure strategy

Data Scientists: Ensure timely access to structured data for modeling and experimentation

Analytics & Visualization Leads: Support reporting needs with clean, well-modeled datasets

Cloud Engineering Teams: Coordinate on deployment, resource management, and scalability

Product and Business Stakeholders: Translate data requirements into technical solutions

Minimum Education:

Preferred Education:

Minimum Experience: 3 years in data engineering or a closely related field

Preferred Experience: 5 years with hands on experience in Databricks or Spark based systems
