Service Technician

As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for operating commercial, residential and light industrial water treatment systems and performing scheduled preventive maintenance as required.

Duties and responsibilities include locating sources of problems by observing and testing systems operation, removing defective parts by dismantling equipment, maintaining equipment, parts, and supplies on truck, providing system information to customers, maintaining safe and clean working environment, and performing other related duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or general education degree (GED), or one to three months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience, a valid driver's license, basic plumbing and electrical experience, mechanical inclination, and willingness to work a full-time schedule and be on-call.

Physical demands and work environment include standing, walking, sitting, climbing, balancing, bending, stooping, kneeling, crawling, exposure to wet and/or humid conditions, work near moving mechanical parts, work in high, precarious places, exposure to outside weather conditions, exposure to extreme heat or cold, lifting and/or moving up to 100 pounds frequently and more than 100 pounds occasionally, and close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus vision.
