The Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced Biomedical Engineer with a flexible and can-do attitude who can provide technical biomedical knowledge, service, repair, calibrate, electrically test & tag, and maintenance of medical and healthcare equipment within New Zealand. One of the core responsibilities of this role would include attending and handling urgent service requests, annual scheduled maintenance, and equipment compliance checks.

The position is full time (40 hours per week) between the hours of 6:00am – 6:00pm Monday to Friday.

• You're a true team player who is passionate about getting things done for the benefit of the whole team
• You have a thirst to learn, develop your skills, and the ability to use initiative
• Ability to adapt, accept and cope with change
• Ability to work to tight deadlines, long hours of work and has the flexibility to be available for overnight stays
• Computer literate with advanced skills in Microsoft suite and has the knowledge with the tools
• Strong phone presence and relatable to stakeholders
• Came from a Bachelor of Engineering – Biomedical Engineering Technology field
• Has NZ Electrical Registration EAS
• Has tertiary electronic/electrical qualification
• Current clean full driver's license
