The role

We're looking for an experienced Laundry Operations Manager to ensure the effective and consistent operation of the Laundry & Dry-Cleaning department of Crown Perth to meet the expectations of both internal and external customers. This role would suit someone with extensive knowledge and experience within an industrial laundry environment or previous experience managing or owning a dry cleaning business.

This role is required to work Tuesday - Saturday.

Key responsibilities

Ensure all Laundry activities are carried out efficiently and effectively and a high standard of service excellence is maintained.

Efficiently manage allocated area and provide clear direction, communication & support to all staff.

Schedule and manage the allocation of labour to meet operational needs.

Conduct quarterly analysis to identify key issues and trends to improve the business processes and improvements.

Manage performance of Laundry Services staff members, including conducting formal performance reviews and organise correct training where required.

Report on financial activities of the team to Wardrobe Services Manager.

Oversee the procurement and proper use of equipment, machinery, and chemicals.

About you:

Proven experience in a management role in a similar environment.

Minimum of five years experience and industry knowledge working in a leadership role.

Managing projects and priorities and resources to deliver business outcomes.

Good knowledge of workplace health & safety legislative and statutory requirements.

Ability to provide and improve customer service with both internal and external customers and ensure service delivery is aligned to Crown values.

Excellent organisational skills including the ability to prioritise tasks and business demands.
