Partner with the HR Head of/Director, HR VP, and business leaders to create and activate the business unit implementation strategy for core HR programs that positively impact each stage of the employee lifecycle.
Manage organizational effectiveness by consulting with leaders on key aspects of organizational design, talent planning, and change management.
Influence and embed the people agenda to clearly articulate strategy, key deliverables and influence action and compliance in the business.
Act as an influential and credible HR leader within your immediate and greater HR team, providing support, follow up, and leadership to ensure the team achieves desired results.
Align with the global & regional COEs to embed strategies and initiatives that support the business.
Advise and consult with senior management for assigned functions on performance, organizational and leadership matters.
Ensure a culture of high performance where exceptional talent is developed and retained, and low performance is addressed through various tools and processes.
Evaluate and interpret gaps in skill capabilities and development for your business unit to create solutions that will elevate the capabilities, culture, and overall excellence of managers and team.
Proactively drive and sustain organizational change by connecting the people priorities to business strategy, developing leadership behaviors, and building readiness across the organization.
Influence strategies to drive employee engagement across businesses / teams.
Provide coaching to People Managers that embodies high-performance and ensures an inclusive and engaged workforce.
Identifies and recommends continued improvement of processes.
Proactively manage and address any risk to the organization, and act as an escalation point on employee relations issues to ensure IHG's code of conduct is fully implemented and adhered to.
Support the implementation of standards and policies to ensure adherence to Global (regional) HR practices and regular legal/government compliances.
Lead team of HR colleagues, where applicable in respective organizational structure.
Mentor, develop, and coach HR team members to build capability, enhance performance, and ensure readiness for future roles.
Lead and support HR workstreams and projects that support successful implementation and alignment with business goals.
Partner with the global Reward COEs to ensure roles are properly sized, benchmarked, and IHG's pay philosophy is implemented. Proactively support respective business leaders with changes in market pay and benefits to remain in a competitive pay positioning.
Support the implementation of technology advancements and strategy, including the HR service model.
Embed and advocate for IHG's talent and inclusion agenda.
Knowledge of applicable federal laws affecting human resource policy (Title VII, ADA, FLSA, FMLA, etc).
Requires broad, generalized HR knowledge and involvement in all specialized areas within HR
Strong facilitation and conflict resolution skills
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written to address all levels within the organization and ability to gain consensus
Strong customer-focus orientation
Related HR certifications helpful (as applies)
7 – 10 years of progressive experience in human resource management with demonstrated proficiency in multiple disciplines/processes related to the position
Travel - limited
Location - Our hybrid work structure is an expectation of three (3) days a week in the Atlanta office. This expectation may be adjusted to evolve with the changing needs of the business.
The salary range for this role is $115,000 to $125,000. This role is also eligible for bonus pay. We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401K and other benefits to employees.
