Product And Technology Strategy Leader

This strategic & operational role is responsible for deeply understanding, articulating, positioning, and marketing what is remarkable about the Product and Technology (P&T) offering. This highly impactful and visible role partners closely with the executive leadership team to build, maintain, and embed P&T's value proposition and strategy throughout the enterprise. This includes owning the foundational P&T strategy, continually refining, and aligning it with IHG's broader goals, and embedding it in everything we do.

The person in this role will develop and drive alignment on P&T's strategy, key priorities, and progress—brought to life through all executive content: from robust Board papers to succinct presentations to strategic leadership forums—through a product-management lens. Leading the implementation and continuous improvement of operational best practices and ways of working across tower operations to ensure consistency, efficiency, and knowledge sharing throughout the organization. Your Day To Day

Create and drive the P&T strategy:

  • Create strategic presentations: develop paper/presentations to the Board, EC, SLT.
  • Strengthen planning (annual/quarterly) planning mechanisms with repeatable structures for priority management.
  • Partner across P&T to drive clarity of a clear P&T value prop and develop strategies for key priorities.
  • Support key initiatives, to support product deployments/enhancements.

Embed P&T strategy & messaging:

  • Manage P&T Messaging Center of Excellence (CoE) ensuring key assets, are easily leveraged, distributed, & understood for P&T Operations function.
  • Socialize best practices at key forums centered around knowledge sharing.
  • Embed AI best practices & tool recommendations to drive efficiency & consistency.
  • Partner with GCA to ensure internal & external comms (including at conferences) are in-line with our P&T narrative.

Improve Owner engagement:

  • Partner on Owners Association (OA) P&T Committees by supporting agenda and managing P&T's holistic strategy & messaging.
  • Establish OA feedback loop to guide our product development and gain confidence with our owner communicate.
  • Partner with Deployment on messaging for owner-related communications where P&T wide messaging is needed.
  • Develop & Maintain Owner Talk Track for towers to drive a consistent message across P&T.

What We Need From You

  • 5+ years of progressive work-related experience with demonstrated proficiency in travel/hospitality, corporate strategy, or technology strategy, particularly in multi-stakeholder environments.
  • Strong Consulting and executive stakeholder management experience in complex, matrixed organizations.
  • Deep understanding of strategy development, messaging frameworks for senior executive audiences.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in leveraging AI tools and best practices to drive operational efficiency, strategic decision-making, and consistent messaging across product and technology functions.
  • Proven ability to cascade strategy across functions, and influence both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with competitive benchmarking and identifying relevant market trends and insights.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to create polished content under tight deadlines.
  • Global and regional business experience, particularly in technology or hospitality organizations.

Location – Atlanta GA (Hybrid – 3 days a week in office)

The salary range for this role is $106,020 to $130,000. This role is also eligible for bonus pay (as applicable). We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401K, and other benefits to employees.
