CrowdStrike is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager for our Policy Management team. This critical role will be responsible for driving the evolution of the cloud-side software and user interfaces that provide configuration and settings information to the Falcon endpoint agent. Nearly every module of the Falcon platform offers customer-manageable configuration options, and changes to these options are distributed to the endpoint fleet within minutes. As a hands-on technical leader, you'll drive technical strategy and roadmap execution while maintaining world-class service quality and supporting the architectural direction laid out by the engineering team. You'll be instrumental in team growth through hiring, retention, and development in our remote-first, high-trust environment.
You will work cross functionally with your peers in the engineering organization: engineering management, product management, program management, support, and others, to ensure your product's success. We are a remote first company so you must bring your excellent verbal and written communication skills to bear when you are working with your engineering teams and cross functional teams across the globe.
This position will be responsible for managing a team of software engineers. This includes:
Engineering Managers at Crowdstrike are hands-on technical leaders. We don't expect Engineering Managers to write code on the critical path to shipping features, but you will need to be able to make sense of the team's PRs. You'll need to develop in-depth knowledge of our system architecture, data flows, APIs, test processes, and dependencies, so that you can reason about our team's work, understand and explain its impact on other teams, and to assist in troubleshooting. Some travel will be required, primarily to the United States, for in-person meetings. This will likely be 2-3 times per year.
