The Counter Adversary Operations (CAO) Team is a team that brings together CrowdStrike Falcon® Intelligence and the CrowdStrike® Falcon OverWatch™ threat hunting team to disrupt today's adversaries and ultimately raise their cost of doing business. Both threat hunting and intelligence operations are essential to detect, disrupt and stop today's adversaries. CrowdStrike's deep adversary knowledge, expertise in pursuing and stopping threats, and visibility derived from the Falcon platform make us uniquely qualified to deliver the most effective method of stopping breaches and protecting customers.

About the Role: CrowdStrike is looking for a Front-end Software Engineer to build globally distributed, robust and customer-centric solutions. You and your team will provide a high-quality user experience that our customers around the world use 24/7 to protect their systems from the most sophisticated adversaries. We build Falcon Console on top of a cutting edge frontend framework leveraging Web Components, but if you have used React or other modern UI frameworks, you will feel right at home. Since we only support evergreen browsers, we can push the boundaries of what's possible on the web platform while working with truly massive amounts of data. What You'll Do: Build and maintain single page web applications written in JavaScript using Ember.js and Kestrel. Write automated tests for your code. Collaborate with fellow UX Engineers, Cloud Engineers, UX Designers, User Researchers, QA Analysts, Product Managers, and others Continually learn about the ever-evolving challenges and complexities of the cybersecurity industry. Have fun solving hard problems.

What You'll Need: 5+ years of end-to-end UI/UX ownership, with a proven track record of leading design strategy and user flows from concept to delivery. A good understanding of JavaScript and experience building web application user interfaces with modern frameworks such as React, Vue or Angular. Strong web development fundamentals, starting with HTML & CSS skills. Experience with testing frameworks, tools and methodologies such as Jest, Playwright, or Cypress. Knowledge & interest in developing genuinely accessible interfaces. Comfortable with Git or similar version control systems and workflows. A desire to work closely with others to deliver quality software and solve problems. Bonus points: Familiarity with client-side build processes and tools (e.g. Webpack, Vite etc.). Experience creating or contributing to open-source projects. Experience with graphics and visualization tools such as D3 or Three.js. Experience with UI performance measurement and optimization. Experience with web accessibility testing and support. Familiarity with Amazon Web Services. Prior experience in cybersecurity. Prior experience building enterprise software as a service.
