About the Role:

This is a Technical Manager role (30% - 70% ; management & Technical) responsible for owning and delivering Falcon for IT content management for CrowdStrike. You will work closely with product management to understand the customer requirements and define the delivery roadmap for the product. You will be technically responsible for the components across Falcon for IT & Patch Management.

This role is also responsible for delivering the content packs on the Windows, Linux and Mac platforms. You will own the design and development of the content packs under the product IT Management product group. Features may cross-cut core OS subsystems such as file system, memory, process, and networking. Many features are also built in a way that they will have shared components across Windows. The team operates under the Agile development principles and ships frequently.

CrowdStrike Falcon Host is a two-component security product. One component is a "sensor" which is a lightweight agent installed on client machines that observes system activity and recognizes malicious behavior, then provides on-box prevention capability and remote telemetry to the Falcon Host cloud. The cloud component aggregates sensor telemetry for each customer's network, can correlate malicious behavior across multiple machines, and presents our customers' operations teams with a prioritized summary of the threats detected in their environments.

What You'll Do:

  • Lead content engineering efforts and work along with the Product Management where applicable helping define the scope of work
  • Demonstrate ownership, accountability and collaborate with cross-functional teams across product groups that are geographically distributed
  • Design and develop content packs for deployment on Windows, Linux and Mac systems
  • Own features from design to delivery
  • Collaborate with a multi-functional team in various physical locations
  • Troubleshoot issues with the product as reported from customers responsively
  • Develop software for products as assigned

What You'll Need:

  • Experience in people & project management, a total of 10+ years of experience.
  • Can develop high-quality scripts in python, powershell, zsh, shell, etc and can demonstrate that capability, be it through job experience, schoolwork, or contributions to community projects
  • Experience in developing product code with the following characteristics:
  • High reliability requirements
  • Experience working on a team to ship major features and releases
  • Able to communicate, collaborate, and work effectively in a distributed team
