As our Industrial Specialties business looks to deliver its ambitious strategy of growth, we are looking for a Sector Sales Manager to join our organization to lead the Sales efforts for Textile auxiliaries, Fibre Finishing and Coatings product lines.
Reporting into the Sales Head of our Industrial Specialities business, you will be responsible for sales of products in the Indian Market and managing the relevant sales network. Deliver the annual sales plan.

Degree qualified in Chemistry with a master's in business. Extensive experience in managing sales for Textile Auxiliaries, finishing and Coatings. Proven expertise in leading a B2B Sales team. Must have formidable commercial acumen, negotiating skills and tenacity to drive growth. Creative and tenacious with good planning and problem-solving skills.
What You'll Be Doing:

Compile the annual sales plan and cost budgets and agree them with the Sector Director. Communicate the plan to relevant teams and ensure it stays on target through regular reviews. Apply broad technical and commercial knowledge within the discipline to guide the Industrial Specialties (Textiles, Fibre & Finish & Coatings) sales team in delivering the annual sales plan. Maintain regular communication with, and influence, the sales network and external contacts within India to manage the business effectively. Maximize sales and gross margin of the business in line with objectives and the strategic plan. Play an integral role in shaping the strategy for the Indian market over the next 1–3 years. Manage the Sales team by conducting appraisals and identifying training needs. Set territory priorities and make decisions on appropriate routes to market. Support the identification of new trends and markets. Provide commercial guidance on product support and new product developments. Improve the efficiency of sales systems and procedures within the discipline. Address issues related to opportunities or problems within the IS sector team, often with vague or limited information. This involves internal and external commercial, customer, production, and agent/distributor challenges.
